Great vid on the philosophy of riding and what one gets out of challenging ourselves
My drawer is stuck. Doesn’t anyone know how to get it to slide out???
Came back to watch some of these, makes me sad, Billy is the reason I bought a VFR back in 2015, and was the first ever moto-vlogging channel I ever subscribed to. I need to get out and ride more.
RIP Bilmaa 2024 and I still watch in disbelief that you're gone.
Do you have to remove the oil filter to get the front drain bolt?
What a damn tragedy Billy passed so young. There was something very special about the way he crafted his videos.
Anyone coming back years later? Bill's videos inspired me, and im sad i didnt get to meet him considering we only lived two hours apart
Great choice of song!!
So the thin wire hanging to the left of the battery goes to the positive or negative terminal? I’m finally putting mine back together and o can’t for the life of me remember.
6 years later, still think about his passing. Live life, it doesn’t last forever.
I've rewatched all of these series. This is great stuff. I went to Canada this past summer. We went up the Dawson, much better than what they went through. It's hard to believe he's no longer with us. He's inspired me to document our travels. I'm not getting a KLR 😅😅😅.
This didn’t help with shit
I know your pain !!!
I've got three of em, takes me about 10 minutes if that.
What brand wheels are on your ride. Damn they look good.
Take the radiator cap off and put it down somewhere, I can tell right away you're a top mechanic
I'll have a pickle please. lol.- no offence... and yes that engine drain bolt was a surprise..thanks bud.
Randomly thought of Billma and BWOM tonight for the first time in almost a decade. RiP man, your videos were awesome.
Love the videos, great trip guys. With all due respect, bad gas, flats and bulbs happen to all bikes.
I like zx12r is my second one! but this ist unbelibelivly shit not just battery to hide so also all fuse is there!!!!!!!! (why???) If just one fuse go you have to unscrew 27 screw(back part , tank sede panel !!/take 47minute to do it!!????? why ?? ist shit patent/even to centrlize waith or lower more down weight !you done this alredy whit petrol tank under your legs !!!(whrily shitt!!!)
The stock sounded meaner
Totally awesome! I have one and my GSXR1100 sits in my garage! God she so jealous!
Exactly the sound I'm looking for out of my 06, thanks!
Gor-Tex does NOT stay water proof for ever. I tried washing and treating my Gor-Tex and it does not work. The can of spray you buy is not cheap so it's a lose-lose situation. Would like to know the outcome of the Aerostich, link to a video.
Phenomenal achievement!
Wow. Nearly six years has passed already. Unreal. Life is but a vapor. RIP Billy!
Agree fully. Time goes by far too quickly. This channel was such an inspiration to me in so many ways. Gone but not forgotten. RIP
I found these videos back in 08 or so and showed me sport bikes can do the same as cruisers. You guys never got the recognition you deserved.
Hey thanks man, this is Kevin and I am running BWOM for Billma as he passed away a few years ago. I am sure he would have been very happy to hear that. And I agree, what he brought to sportbike style touring made a huge difference!
@@billymusick yea I remember seeing one of the 2 passed away unfortunately but you guys where pioneers. And I hope something happens to blow up these videos.
To think it came after ZZR 1100 (ZX11) There was only a seat bracket in the way for getting the battery out
With all due respect, I didn't find this video very helpful. I was looking for a step-by-step protocol, and well,...this one didn't cut it. Could have also done without the unrelated digression, as well.
Great. A how to drain the coolant video that doesn’t include any coolant draining. Very logical. Thumbs down.
Why not just connect a quick charger. No need to take out anything . Just to plug it in the charger . Ctek ftw :-)
Sounds like...freedom!!!
Rewatching all of these goodies. I miss BWOM. I'm starting my own channel because of them.
I still miss Billy's videos
Me too, me too.
45 minutes to get to the battery ?!?! Nope 😂
Any coolant will work?
Zx9 is the same as the honda for battery access. Zx12 is a much better bike though.
Agree.. I purchased a 4k mile A2 last year.. so I fitted a trickle charger cable. Well, I had to take half the bike apart to get to it! Kawasaki probably thought it was a great idea to tuck it inside the frame - Nope! 😐
2:33 i see the plug - that's the battery charging plug standard SAE its mean.. You have everything done to not make this job - but you did it xDDD what I can say xD
Just re binge watched and it's such a good representation of long motorcycle trips. Highs and lows but well worth it. Cheers billma.
It's been good going back and watching these vids 11 years later, Cheers
I think about billmaa every now and then. He got me into riding when I found his videos so many years ago. I decided to start this series again. Rest in Peace brother.
Not to mention the freaking brake reservoir
Absolutely!!!! Love my bike but for goodness Sakes it’s a pain in the Ass to work on!!!!
Me and a friend are building a golf country and we are taking it to Proudhoe bay. Totally inspired by BWOM. This will be a tribute to Bilmaa. Grab this life or you miss it!!!!
ua-cam.com/video/pe2qrDUBjsc/v-deo.html Check this cool sport bike gear.
RIP The Godfather of motovlogging
I'm not sure if you still get notifications for these older videos, but if you do ... I am planning a trip out west this summer/fall and plan to pass through Jackson and possibly spend the night there. Do you recall what motel you stayed at with the cabins?
I sure don’t remember. Wish I did!
@@billymusick I’ve looked at several in Jackson and nothing yet looks like the place you stayed. I thought it would be easy to find, but alas…
@@LTVoyager So I checked with Tracy, who apparently still has a great memory!!!! He said it is Kudar Log Cabins in downtown Jackson Hole. thekudar.com!!! Will be excited to hear how the trip goes.
@@billymusick Mucho gracias!
Congrats on you Saddle Sore 1000, nice ride.
Watched this video to find the battery on mine. Completely incompetent mechanic and I had mine out in < 10 min
